For safety reasons, this treatment is not recommended if you have:

  • Active acne with papules or pustules

  • Rosacea flare-ups, lupus, or herpes labialis

  • Skin cancer, solar keratosis, warts, or active infections

  • Uncontrolled diabetes

  • Hemophilia or dermatitis

  • Eczema or raised moles in the treatment area

  • Are on chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or high-dose corticosteroids

  • Are taking anticoagulant therapy such as warfarin or heparin
